I've no been to the cinima since Dispicable Me 3. There are few films I have beyond animation I feel compeled to watch. Over the past few years I have considered more often going to the big screen. Anyone seen the remake of A Star Is Born, with Bradly Cooper and Lady Gaga? I don't think I could watch it without being accompanied by an adult. Still think Grand Torino with Clint Eastwood is an excellent film.

Just watched Patient Zero . Despite the wonderful Stanley Tucci it was DREADFUL. I am being kind in giving it a 4/10

The Nun

Another instalment in the Conjuring/Annabelle series, some good scares and pulls a few things together from all the films. 5.5/10.

A Cure For Wellness.

Breathtaking scenery, intriguing story but disturbing as hell! I wish I could un-see certain scenes but great film.

I won't be going on a Spa Weekend anytime soon. :doomed:

Peter Jackson has made a film about Middle earth, he’s not a Hobbit but this is not “cultural appropriation”, why is that?

Because middle earth and hobbits are fictional maybe?

Great comparison.

Fictional? You’ve obviously never been to Luton...

or certain parts of vermont

I really liked Ghost Stories though and thought Martin Freeman was excellent in it. 8.5/10

Ghost Stories is brilliant, I loved it. Proper old school scary but funny too.

I watched Moonlight last night. Good film but it ended too abruptly. I wanted to see him at a Pride festival or something. :twirl:

After 40 years, the original Star Wars (episode IV) is still a great film and stands the test of time.

Also watched 10 Cloverfield Lane today, it was better than I thought it would be. 6/10

It's about a bloke who goes on a diet.

The previous film 'Fatman' was rather dull tbh.
