Spotted a series called Frontier about the Canadian fur trade in the1700's involving the British-owned Hudson's Bay Company. I'm a bit meh so far, not sure I buy the amount of swearing :gigglesnshit:.

But it's got Jason Momoa (GOT) so I'll carry on.

Black Snake Moan, absolutely hilarious for the manner in which it pans out and also for the music, especially in the club scene.

I like crime shows so tried giving American Crime a watch, but it was all too dumbed down for me I'm afraid, I prefer shows that have you thinking. :smilin:

So did Sneaky Pete. I love Margo Martindale and Jacob Pitt. Jacob Pitt is in The Sinner on Netflix. I haven't gotten around to it yet. Has anyone seen it?

Another great drama on Netflix is Rectify. It's written by the man who played the touched preacher on Deadwood. About a man getting out some 10 years after a life sentence for a crime he didn't commit, what happens w/his family and small town when he returns. You really feel for the characters, get frustrated by them, are happy by events.

Yup. Seen Rectify - great series.

Good to 'meet' you, btw

Have you watched 'Last Tango In Halifax'?

It's the same writer, Sally Wainwright.

A family drama, also on Netflix.

I loved Happy Valley. I think it’s back for a third series at some point.

Chernobyl - a great deal better than you might think.

Not on Netflix though, but when it’s finished on Sky...

Ready Player One was bizarre, great special effects though and well worth a bit of mind numbing oblivion
