Honestly, I noticed a a few fuckwits here, the other day, suggesting it was all going to shit at Grenfell Tower because of the tories.

The simple fact is that almost all our various civil servants are bureaucrats and arse-lickers who're all but incapable of practical thought, much less action.
This is not a party-political problem. It's a problem endemic to the entire public sector in this country.
And it's certainly endemic to Labour authorities, just as much as tory ones.
Seriously, does anybody think that the response would have been any better if (god forbid) a building had caught fire in Hackney?
Some people have made a right show of themselves over this tragedy. I can't recall a tragedy/incident ever, where so much rabid venom has been directed at a political party. For sure. a political party will occasionally crop up when discussing such things, but usually people just talk of 'the authorities' local council', 'the police' etc, like they did for example with the Rotherham abuse cases. Can you imagine discussing that situation and littering your posts with 'Labour are to blame' - because I can't - it would be absolutely mind-numbingly fucking stupid wouldn't it?
Some people see Tony Blair as a war criminal. That's him as an individual. Do we read countless comments about Labour being a party of war criminals. No we don't.
Look at the fuss being made about Theresa May over Grenfell, anyone would think that Corbyn hugging a few people, and May not, was the story itself. You'd think that May was personally responsible, that she'd gone into that 4th floor flat and detonated the fridge herself.
This forum seems to attract the dregs of humanity, who are using the deaths of those poor people to politically point score. I like to think people are better than that though, and it's probably just a few regulars with 'issues', posting under their usernames, and also as guests, maybe a few genuine guests as well thrown in. Seriously, in the wake of such tragedy, how can virtually every other post by these people be about 'the Tories'?
