TL;DR: The Government at the time decided that adopting the same colour passport as everyone else in the EU would ease queues and disruption at entry points, it was a decision to make life easier by cutting out red tape.

Sigh...

Great negotiating there then !!!
We have negotiated back control of something we already had control of !!!

We will show the EU what English fighting spirit really means, bring it on Theresa . :pmsl:

So what now?

We leave the Customs Union and will have some sort of union of customs, the Single Market will be an open market. Names will change for us but all that will change in reality are our freedom of movement, our veto and our vote.

Yep, the good stuff for the ordinary Joe and Jane will be all but gone. But they'll still be paying. Still moaning about less than white folks who praise the same god in a different way. Still waiting in line for health services. Still subject to European law - only difference is that Boris gets more shags and cash.

But fish, passports, sovereignty.

Oh fuck it...

Boris as PM if his plan works out - sodall else.

Brexit Boris - when the wind was blowing for Remain:
“This is a market on our doorstep, ready for further exploitation by British firms. The membership fee seems rather small for all that access. Why are we so determined to turn our back on it?”

Britain has no warships deployed overseas in 'unprecedented' move blamed on defence cuts

Britain has no major warships deployed on operations beyond home waters in what has been described as an "unprecedented" absence of the vessels on the world stage

I suppose Britannia is ruling the waves in spirit

a benefit for the Brexiteers we are to get our Blue Passports back. :hap:

The Passports will be designed and printed in Germany and France ( Boo) :pmsl:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-blue-passports-made-in-france-germany-eu-a7938666.html

How sad that Brexit is going so badly that the Brextremists are forced to scrape this low for something to cheer about. :gigglesnshit:

Think about the benefits that were imposed on us by the League of Nations in the 20's. Burgundy passports are useful for quick passage through shared borders and were adopted for no other reason than convenience to the traveller. I agree that the wording needs to be changed but I've never given a shit about the colour, after all you can get those covers for them.

I can think of countless things to spend half a billion quid on over words and colors - but if it keeps the massive happy....

It won't.

Grimsby wants access to the Single Market so there goes the fish and suddenly we realise that we actually need immigrants to do jobs and pay taxes. But we got the passports, liberal tears, snowflakes...

The Fishing Industry is covered by International Regulations, so by leaving the EU it will not be likely to make any difference !

So by leaving the EU what is this Country likely to achieve ??? :dunno:
