TL;DR: The Government at the time decided that adopting the same colour passport as everyone else in the EU would ease queues and disruption at entry points, it was a decision to make life easier by cutting out red tape.

Yep, the good stuff for the ordinary Joe and Jane will be all but gone. But they'll still be paying. Still moaning about less than white folks who praise the same god in a different way. Still waiting in line for health services. Still subject to European law - only difference is that Boris gets more shags and cash.

Think about the benefits that were imposed on us by the League of Nations in the 20's. Burgundy passports are useful for quick passage through shared borders and were adopted for no other reason than convenience to the traveller. I agree that the wording needs to be changed but I've never given a shit about the colour, after all you can get those covers for them.


I can think of countless things to spend half a billion quid on over words and colors - but if it keeps the massive happy....


It won't.

Grimsby wants access to the Single Market so there goes the fish and suddenly we realise that we actually need immigrants to do jobs and pay taxes. But we got the passports, liberal tears, snowflakes...



The Fishing Industry is covered by International Regulations, so by leaving the EU it will not be likely to make any difference !

So by leaving the EU what is this Country likely to achieve ??? :dunno:
