You profess to be a religious man so do you think your God is punishing you?
The big quake has to be next surely?
Do you have any plans half baked or concrete to get the hell out of there?
I'm sure Maddog can find you a bed in Texas.
Hello Jack:
Certainly California has some naturally occuring instances such as quakes etc...But no more or less than in the past. There are several earthquake faults. And fires 'sometimes' occur naturally as nature tries to clear the land.
The fires-the big ones--are generally set by terrorists(whether a local psycho or Isis). That point is never stressed but every firefighter I know knows that this is the truth.Especially the one in northern CA in SEPT. There were about 7 or 8 sights very near towns in the napa and sonoma valleys that ignited almost simultaneously. That is a 1 in a 100 million chance to happen 'naturally'.
But to your point Jack---I do believe God can possibly have a hand in punishing a society gone evil.Just read the old testament. But I do not think that this happens often. California(the govt) definitely leans toward the evil side of the leger.
Take care mate
God bless you
Tom
Hi Tom, I heard that California isn't the state most likely to suffer the next catastrophic earthquake and that it's far more likely the states of the Pacific North West, Oregon and Washington who are in far more danger.
There is a tectonic fault line off their coasts which most people, except the experts in the field, are aware of and it's well overdue for a 'slip'
When it does happen because there is no 'IF' - it will be truly catastrophic as none of the buildings in those states have any form of earthquake protection.
