The idiot POTUS has just saddled Americans with a £50bn bill for imported Chinese goods.
He has shown himself to be no friend of the EU, or even his neighbours Canada - in fact his only 'pretend mates' are Russia and North Korea.
What chance the UK on its' own when it comes to negotiating a free trade agreement with America ?
No thanks - I prefer the backing of 27 other countries, both to negotiate and, perhaps even more importantly, to protect our standards on food and livestock imports and exports. I don't fancy your chlorine rinsed chicken because your producers cut every hygiene corner, or hormone stuffed meat because you can't produce economical animals any other way.
