He probably already had the nice house, money etc.
He must be regretting it already! Unless he has a plan for taking on those rabid Mullahs.

Those kind of plans often end in a one-sided homicide fest. And it wouldn't be in his favour.

I reckon he’s gone in with good intentions, hoping to make a difference, like most politicians do (although he was a sportsman) maybe delusional but seeing him cave at this first hurdle is going to be disappointing for those who voted for him hoping for change.

It will be interesting to see what Imran Khan does. Will he go along with mob rule or make a stand against it as he’d promised when being elected?

With only fatwas threatened against him I am sure he will do the right thing

He’s caved

Not a great start, now they’ll think they can bully their way through the judiciary.
Bit like the billionaires who own the media here bullying the judges over the Brexit debacle.

She should have gone when she had the chance.

The Pakistan religious heirarchy wields great power there, in some ways Imran faces the same difficulties as Aung San Suu Kyi does in Myanmar under the military.

Then I guess all leaders are pretty impotent power-wise and are ruled by some sort of mob. So why become one?
