Already a long time resident of Number 10 Downing Street, Larry would settle into the role of Prime Minister much quicker than any other candidate. No removal van needed for our Larry, his worldly goods are already there.
Larry is also happy to work for biscuits (literally), meaning that the PM's wages normally paid by the UK tax payer can be put towards something more useful like the NHS for example.

If we can have a Prime Minister that was pretty much as useful as a bag of crisps then having a feline friend as our next leader can surely do no harm.

:pmsl:

I agree Larry would be a better choice than Corbyn.

We are entering the dawn of a new socialist era for this country, exciting times ahead which you will have to embrace! :smilin:

Interesting statement from Jeremy Hunt today.

"The votes we need as a party are those of young people. Three years ago the average age below which people were more likely to vote Labour than Conservative was 35. Now it is 51.

"Carry on like this and our party will die on its feet. How can the party of aspiration turn its backs on our most aspirational people?"

By owning, and continuing to push Brexit, Mr Hunt. And the sooner it, and the Tory party dies, the better.

This woman has lied and failed the UK, making it the laughing stock of Europe if not the World.

Now we wait with baited breath to see who her successor will be.

There I was thinking Wednesday was the 5th of June. Must get one of this guests diaries.

A motion of no confidence is passed in Her Majesty's Government by a simple majority and 14 days elapses without the House passing a confidence motion in any new Government formed

A motion for a general election is agreed by two thirds of the total number of seats in the Commons including vacant seats (currently 434 out of 650)

Spot on. Here's hoping.

Good idea, let's all vote Libdem and stop the ridiculous game of musical chairs between tories and labour

Sorry, no can do. I vote SNP. :yess:

Thanks to both of you.

I cannot believe that this isn't brewing. A party that is in total disarray get to still govern a country that has no faith left in them? Fingers crossed.

It is indeed mental, I cannot recall such a shambolic shower of shit holding office.

that could only work if mp's where independant. but You swear an oath to a party, not the mp or pm.

Rubbish - the ONLY oath an MP swears is to the Queen, which is why Sinn Fein don't take their seats.

MPs are expected to vote in party lines for certain subjects and get free votes for others. Cabinet ministers are subject to collective responsibility, and if they vote against the government they usually lose their cabinet position.

And it has nothing to do with Queen Mary or the Magna Carta.

I said I disagree with it, I didn't ask why they get away with it..
