When he came last year to the UK our politrickians and other church leaders grovelled to him. Perhaps worried about the increase in atheism, so figure it is better to united against the non believers and thus pretend that they respect him.
But,, his followers are deserting him in their droves. as was evident in the paltry turnout for his 'vigil' in Hyde Park. We were told that there are 6 million Catholics in this country so tax payers protection money was worth it. Major roads in central London were completely closed to traffic in anticipation of huge crowds wanting to see him,, but,, it was pitiful. Paul McCartney played there a few weeks prior and it was standing room only, Ratzinger arrives,,, and the place is 75% empty...!! So where was the 6 million..? Still, perhaps the embarrassment of the missing flocks will mean that he and his odd misogynist evil henchmen wont be back for a while..!!
