Apart from the fact it's not your site, the point Stooo made when he explained was: he didn't want this site showing up in Breitbart tracking or referrals, presumably because that would inevitably lead to a bunch of crazies turning up.

Three possible scenarios spring to mind regarding forums in general.

The admin (board founder) has sent a password request.
One of the other admin team has sent a password request in order to lock the admin (board founder) out of their own forums.
A third party is trying to lock admin out of the board.


Using a proxy?

It was an attempt to login to my Modwest account and database access. If that was successful then it would be incredibly difficult to delete fucking everything especially because most of the actions are linked to a dedicated email account and via text confirmation from my phone. I've had my account hacked before and lessons were learned.


I hope you caught the people that hacked your account, even though they were using a proxy.
