Back in the 90's, he was a regular, together with his first wife, Luisa, at an Italian restaurant in Pimlico I used to go to.
Luisa was a typically fiery (& very vocal!) Italian diva
He, on the other hand, was the epitome of suave, 'old school', beaming geniality, with a very impish glint to his eye.
