Thanks.

Yes, he is quite funny, actually. I found him the other day staring at the floor, and when I asked what he was doing he told me he'd seen Cary Grant's face in the pattern in the carpet and was trying to find it again.

We worked out that this was in 1935, when he was 8.

Nothing changes, it's still the same life, you just become decrepit and die.

All the best caring for your Dad :wubbers:

I also cared my late Dad and Bro, not easy but your Dad sounds quite a character. :smilin:

And I went and told you that you should spell better. My apologies.

To all those who have asked, I am lucky to have family near by, and carers coming in 3 times a day, I manage to get a few hours to myself most days.

Thank You for caring.

I do not imagine myself being old at all, I am old.

I am in good nick due to my years in the army and boxing.

Since the middle 90s I have shot and fished.

I have aches and pains like most over 50 though.

OP, yes old age comes to us all in the end. When it does we should take the rough with the smooth.
Of course some people were born old. Their posts sound like their brains were frozen in time - the prehistoric period. :ooer:
