Dana International won it with this song, it was a catchy wee tune.

You wouldn't know she used to be a man.

They won it before that too, Vicks. 3 times altogether now.
The song was called Abaninbi or summat strange like that.
I was a schoolkid. Mum kept saying it was a ''strange 'made-up' song, I don't like it''.
Dad got fed up of her saying that, so he said ''all songs are made up!!''. That stopped mum in her tracks. She doesn't like smart alec replies.

You would tan if you kept applying a high factor, Vicky. My mum is a redhead and gets a tan if she does it right.
I think most UK folk burn - we are that unused to seeing glorious summers, that they head out with one application of suncream, thinking it will last them all day. Well no, not unless it's Pizbuin's All Day cream, but even then I reapply.

I only ever get sunburn in this country. Never in hotter countries.

They say it’s prickly heat.

My mum had prickly heat once, she said it was terrible.

I just burn and then get freckles.

It costs £180 to play the Old Course at St Andrews and it's sold out now up until the end of October.

I saw Dana win while I was in hospital after I’d had my 2nd Caesarian and was a bit high on morphine.
I thought I was hulucinating but in a good, happy way!
I think Terry dropped the award that day.

It's not the same without Terry Wogan, he was funny.

It must be your lads birthday soon Lady M, I hope he has a nice time.

:Wiiiine!:

Terry was a class act.
Yes we celebrated last weekend, in the blistering sunshine.
Think I got sunstroke :ooer:

I've never had sunstroke, I got really bad sunburn years ago when i was at St Andrews watching the golf.

I was in agony.

I haven't watched Eurovision since my mum & dad made us as kids, Israel won it yes?

What I find odd is that if the whole world hates Israel as much as we are told they do, how come they won?

Absolutely awful. But typical Eurovision.

I liked France, Cyprus, Italy, UK and Estonia’s entries.
