I hadn't really thought of listening to him until I saw a TV documentary with some bloke punching a side of beef.

His best work is difficult stuff for most people but I think he's worth making the effort.



Same as that.. wasn't until the film Bronson that I took notice ... and the walker brothers weren't related I didn't know that :mrgreen: for a while I always thought they were :snooty:


Definitely worth making the effort.

Tbh, I'm really surprised how popular he was, and the coverage he's got - shame he didn't know. I started the thread thinking no-one would be interested.


I agree.. didn't really like his early stuff, sounded like theme tunes from western films :ooer:

But no denying his voice was fantastic.
