Remember a young boy died of this virus , and his father was on the news few weeks later telling his anguish not being at his son his side when he died , I think if I was in this chap shoes I wouldn’t be live now

The heavy emotional price that some people paid - not being able to comfort their dying relatives and say one last goodbye in person. The mental health of all those relatives is now a ticking time bomb that will unleash sooner or later.

Now are you absolutely sure you know how bad the pain felt in your very own legs, attached to your very own body?

Because Raven is the expert on anything and everything (in other words, fuck all) and i'm sure he knows how your pain felt, much better than you ever could.

:pmsl:

Innit!

No pain, no gain! They are designed to hurt.

No they're not. My legs hurt afterwards for hours - it wasn't normal.

Exercise shouldn't hurt IMO.

Pardon? The whole idea is to work your muscles and that causes them to get stronger and they will not do so if you simply give up.
You have to push through the pain and it becomes much easier overtime.

Exercise and ATP | HowStuffWorks

When the cell has excess energy, it stores this energy by forming ATP from ADP and phosphate. ATP is required for the biochemical reactions involved in any muscle contraction. As the work of the muscle increases, more and more ATP gets consumed and must be replaced in order for the muscle …

The pain you speak of is caused by a build of lactic acid in your muscles and it is normal

It’s not lactic acid in muscles. It’s lactate and it’s not responsible for the soreness.
The soreness is just the micro tears and inflammation.

And you shouldn’t feel pain after every exercise unless you are extremely unfit.

I've been delivering loads of exercise equipment that will be covered in drying tights within a week. My mum bought three within a couple of years because they were the in thing, never used them :again?:

She tried to get me to use one one, I was riding a mile and a half a day to school at the time and I've never been pudgy :kinell:
