Great source of protein tbh. Damn tasty too.

Damn tasty! Not sure if I would go that far unless you have some sure fire recipe mate. I mean they are ok, not what you call real meaty, but probably best served in a stew... Do share your recipe mate, whats the secret to "damn tasty" rabbit?

Lucky I was WFH this morning - heard something being put through the letterbox, looked and it was a RM "sorry you were out" card, so I opened the door in time to see postie (not our usual fella) getting back into his van at the bottom of the driveway. I called him and he got back out and brought me my parcel, seeming a bit grumpy.

Feck knows why he didn't ring the bell? :dunno:

like it or not
its the most natural thing in the world for us to hunt, kill & eat the wildlife

not too long ago it was them hunting us, never forget that.

agree ref trophy hunters, esp the ones who "prize" endangered species
tis a bit twisted.

as long as you eat what you kill, then its all fine by me

Baked alaskan snow leopard anyone??

I'm not a hypocrite...I like my meat but I never liked the idea of killing just for sport...fuk all you bastards who kill just for the sake of it or in the name of sport...what kind of sport is that to kill an innocent defenceless animal ??? ...I could never be with a bloke who does that....

Never forgotten the time i wandered into a wildlife centre here. Red squirrel and Grey squirrel, Hare, Badger, Mice and a Fox, etc. All stuffed and stuck in glass cages with a wee bit about each animal beside it. Horrible it was. They even had the cheek to have children's games. If i had know all the animals were dead, i would never have set foot inside the place.

Wildlife centre, what a feckin' joke Vick.... :shake head:

I've always wanted to see a red squirrel, but stuffed and dead, wasn't what i had in mind

I've seen loads of red squirrels Vick, beautiful creatures. :smilin:

I know what you mean...seen it too often...it's quite upsetting, especially when the shooter is proud of it....what heroes eh ?

Seen it with those who go on those safari holidays, and murder Leopards and other beautiful animals. Then pose proudly beside the animal, grinning from ear to ear. Makes me want to be sick.

Thank God it's becoming a thing of the past now killing endangered species...but it's equally sad when common creatures get killed in the name of sport...

Hardly, if I aimed at the floor I'd miss. It's not practical to use it out the back so a local farmer gave us permission to use some of her land.

Many tin cans bit the dust yesterday.
