It's better not to have expectations - then you won't be disappointed.

You have choices, but your conditioning makes you powerless to exercise them.

So you do what you always do. Whine about a shit system, while supporting it at the same, because they give you enough rations to keep you appeased.

Johnson promised to build 40 new hospitals if elected to PM. He got elected over two years ago. He hasn't dug a foundation or laid a single brick. He promised cheaper household bills if Brits backed Brexit and left the EU. 17 million dummies backed Brexit - and now the country has seen its largest energy price increase ever of over 50%.

I didn't vote for the shit system, folks like Rags and Red did so direct your ire at them.

I didn't vote for an energy price increase.

You'll just have to put another jumper on if you can't afford heating. :snooty:

Yeah you weren't told by leaving the EU you'd lose access to the internal energy market which subsidizes wholesale energy rises, keeping prices low. You were being LIED to all the time but couldn't see it, didn't want to, because getting your Brexit was more important than anything else. Now it's all going pearshaped you try to joke your way out of it.

Sadly, even being a member of the EU wouldnt save us from the current price rises. Unless we’d managed to kick the Germans into agreeing the Baltic pipeline. Russia are holding the EU to ransom over it. They wont pump more gas until it’s sorted.

I wasn't joking. Weren't you ever told to put a jumper on if you were cold?

isn't this a global issue anyway?

Your shit system goes back to before you wore long britches.

Go back and read my previous post. It's directed at you and flew right over your fucking head.

You have an extreme case of cognitive dissonance.

He’s so angry at the mere existence of the Tory party, he seems, just for starters, to have missed the world being on hold for nearly 2 years. Some might say that Boris having both hands tied behind his back was a good thing, but Graf seems to actually want full on Tory, just so he can moan about it.

It's not just NHS, all of that tax on petrol, that YOU were whining about goes for God knows what? Good service at the DVLA?

No it's meant to be spent on road maintenance. UK is one of the highest taxed countries in the west and always has been. It is NOT a cheap country to live in.

Do you think we drive on dirt roads?

I expect some in the outback amount to that. No idea as i've never been.

You're overtaxed for no better service then you whine a little but defend it in the end..

That's just weird...

No i'm not 'defending' it at all. You asked what the tax was for so I told you. I doubt you'd find one motorist here who thinks the tax is fair, reasonable and justified, but the choice is go without a car and that won't work for everyone. Public transport isn't cheap and not always practical (eg it's useless if you're a shift worker).

It's free for people who don't pay NI and who don't pay for prescriptions.

I don't pay for prescriptions. Your time will come. Be thankful for small mercies - there for the grace of God etc.

$2.75 or so here. Add a dollar for the commie states. :ooer:

And I spend about 40 a year for an inspection and about 60 for license plates.

Some states have abolished inspections though.

So in gb£ just £2 per gallon. Here it's almost $8 a gallon so four times as much as it costs you. Ok your gallon is slightly smaller than UK but even so your fuel price is peanut money. Ever likely folks there were cruising around in 7 litre Land Yachts back in the 60s and 70s whilst Brits went to work on pedal bike. :shake head:

You're government taxes the hell out of your fuel.

All that free stuff costs a lot of money.

I wouldn't melt down, I would just leave.

Do you want some sort of fucking award for being taxed to death and treated like a child?
