BTW we only finished repaying our debts to America for WW2 in 2000, so I guess we can claim that back as well from Merkel. It's all good. :canny:

As alot of you may know next year marks the 100th anniversary for when the first world war ended. In my town where I am from a famous poet called Wilfred Owen fought and died just days before world war one finished. For next years 100th anniversary is there likely to be any events on the day the war ended itself. I know they do a two minute silence on remembrance day but surely there will be more things planned
