Nucks wrote:Hi Abs, just wanted to mention SOLOS (Survivors of Loved Ones to Suicide) again. They are an amazing group, you can find them on Facebook. No one can read what you post there except members, it’s a closed group. You only need to message them and they will ask you to briefly tell them about your situation. It’s to weed out trolls and rubberneckers. Everyone is kind and supportive and has been and is going thru what you are. They understand. There is no pressure to post if you don’t want to. They get the pain and anguish and guilt we feel. The death of a child is horrendous, but the added stigma of suicide can be unbearable sometimes. They get that we still want to talk about our children when family and friends can no longer bear to listen. They will never tell you to move on or get over it.

It is mostly US based but many members are in the UK and can help you find resources if you need them. There is also PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide) that can help.

I know you said you didn’t feel talking about it or counselling helps, but I found knowing so many others shared the same grief to be comforting. It’s an awful group to have to be a part of, a grieving parent I mean, but you don’t have to do it alone. xx

Winston's Wish are excellent for the UK. I recommend them first hand.

I wasn't anyone particularly memorable to be honest lol so you probably won't remember me anyway.

But I started off as Marmite, then asked for it to be changed to Cheyanne. :smilin:

You were too memorable. I will always think of you as Marm. :)

Hi Abs :smilin:

So sorry about all the stuff you are going through, it must be really difficult to cope with.

I wish I could say or do something helpful. But I would probably end up coming out with a load of rubbish.

Sending a (((((hug))))) for you though. x

Thank you Kiki, sometimes too much to bare, but i'm hanging in there. It's alright I know full well how hard it is in these situations to know the right thing to say. But do know your words matter to me.

I posted a picture of the Krankies for Claire as a child. Holly deleted it twice. It was no different to any other picture on here, seems someone doesn’t have a sense of humour...
