Eh? I got Stephen Hawking's final book (none of this Kindle rubbish either - the physical book) as a present as well Michelle Obama's autobiography (as did a significant number of my friends if my FB feed is anything to go by!)

not being able to celebrate it as it should be. I refrained from telling an outright lie about santa visiting, I always focused on the spirit of Christmas. three years ago Daughters Mum just told Her santa isn't real. that was cruel telling a 5 year old that, fkn twisted git who runs about after David Icke with a teaspoon ready to catch his shit with it!

Gaslighting is a tactic in which a person or entity, in order to gain more power, makes a victim question their reality. It works much better than you may think. Anyone is susceptible to gaslighting, and it is a common technique of abusers, dictators, narcissists, and cult leaders

Xmas is for kids, unspoilt kids. Rich kids don’t get the charm of receiving presents at Xmas because they get what they want all year round.

My mum (I love her to bits but can't even...) bought me an electric whisk. :ooer:
I don't bake and have no room for anymore kitchen appliances I won't use so I took it back. £4 cash refunded. :gigglesnshit:

In her defence she did get me some other things that were lovely. I'm guessing she just saw a bargain and thought it'd be something else for me to open.

Christmas presents are generally shit, let's be honest. The masses of STUFF stresses me out, I don't like it, feels wrong.
