Just rang them and he said she has to send it back to her and ask her nicely for a refund or we'll raise a dispute through my bank. She legally has 15 days to pay or the Consumer Act 2005 regarding distance selling comes in to force. I raise a dispute with Santander and they'll get the money back from her bank. She'll have no say in the matter as the law is fully on our side.

Silly sod has stuck it now with Superglue and says she's not bothered. She should stand up for her fucking rights.

So your wife is now going to sell it off stuck back together with glue?

NO. She's keeping it as it's my Xmas gift to her. :leer:

Yes I know. Bitch. :shoot: Wife won't give me the money to let me ring her. She's accepted that she doesn't want to refund. I'd be threatening her with the small claims court now.

Seriously?? :kinell: … man the fuck up!

Here's what Hermes have on their website.

NO PROTECTION ITEMS: The following items (or any item similar in description or content) can only be carried on a no protection basis on any service.

Any person sending such an item does so at their own risk:

POTTERY AND PORCELAIN (Amongst many others such as glass)

If she was a decent fucking seller she'd refund her though. I would.

Sighs. What insurance. She didn't take any out with Hermes and is refusing to discuss it further. Bye bye money.

There is an insurance part in the sending contract, you can bump it up for a a little more but it's commonly around thirty five quid.

It's not your problem and you're entitled to a full refund.
