On NPR radio broadcast this morning, they were discussing Bill's heart surgery and how dangerous the 'Widow Maker' scenario was ...his heart condition was said to have been exactly that! There's just so much danger in even opening their heart to preform surgery, prior heart muscle damage just makes it an entire heart muscle a precarious thing to operate on.

Oh, shocked ...I so enjoyed him in the recent 'Hatfield & McCoys' mini series; well I've not watched anything that he did that wasn't worth the time to sit and watch ...he was just a real decent actor/director - good man!
