HYENA

Post by Trapper John » Fri Dec 29, 2017 10:29 am

I'd not even heard of this film before I saw it listed on FILM 4 as a late night offering a few weeks before Christmas. Hyena, made in 2014 - so I read the write up and thought I'd record it for later viewing.

Anyway, watched it last night and fucking hell what a good film. Very real and gritty, some disturbing scenes but all part of the storyline, nothing just for violence or shock sake.

British film so not a huge budget thing but it didn't need it, one of those films that leaves a memory with you. If you get the chance to see it do, an excellent British film, well worth a couple of your hours.

Not sure why the title? maybe something to do with the pack mentality. :dunno:
