Is it a drama or a documentary Avon?

It's a docu-series Star (a documentary split into a series of episodes.)

It's a bit like one of those shows we have over here where camera crews shadow the Police on patrol except a lot better.

Thanks for the Netflix recommendation by the way. I don't know why I didn't get it sooner!

You are most welcome Avon, and thanks for explaining about Flint town too.

No worries. It's a great show. It's been described as a real life version of The Wire which explains why I like it!

I'm on to the last episode and that makes me a little sad.

Nah if you like a series you may as well go all out.
I did that with Riverdale watched 6 episodes all in one go

Wut? You watched 6 episodes in a row you nutter?

I was talking to a friend about binge watching and he asked me if I had got some kind of message flash up on Netflix about inactivity. I said I'd never even heard of it to which he responded "You lightweight, you know nothing about binge watching."

Charming.

Watched Episodes 3 & 4 last night.

It seems to do what many documentaries have failed to do in recent times - portray the issues and people involved uncompromisingly without preaching about them. The police officers and members of the local community are reflected in all their flawed humanity.

Utterly compelling and excellent TV .

Watched a couple of episodes of this on Netflix over the weekend.

It's a docu-series about policing in Flint, Michigan (made famous in recent times for the poisoned water supply), a decaying town with a severely under resourced force struggling with poverty, high crime and corruption.

It's brilliant so far but hard to watch at times so not one I intend to binge watch.
