80% of dems and 60% of repubes are full deep state or deeps state's patsies.

In the UK the conservatives are just deep staters. It seems labour are more in line with what Trump or sanders stand for--namely NO TARIFFS(or equal tariffs) iow free trade;
no croney capitalism .

America is different Tom, you have no left over there. Just Neo-Liberals and Neo-Cons. Bernie was nearest to left wing but even he was a sell out to the corporations and MIC.

oh we still have some good smart leftists like alan derschowitz. there are a lot of honest smart left liberals in the USA that are rejecting the neo-liberal satanic lies.

If Neo-Liberals are satanic what are Neo-Conservatives? :leer:

many of them have followed the same route...so i agree with your inference

I didn't mention moderate voters. :ooer:

Are you trying to classify moderate, whatever that actually means in political terms of left or right, as some sort of centrist?

It sounds very much like media led sheep like safety to me for the status quo. That is, when the media tell people to vote for the other party, they do. If the media say they are 'extreme' 'loony' or 'the country is in danger if you vote for them' they don't. Moderate seems like another word for easily led.

You said 'I've always said centre politics doesn't exist.'. Talking about political parties you have half a point, with respect to voters you're stone cold wrong. And stop babbling about media influence.

Is it not the case that the media, print, TV and Radio, set the political tone of what is 'acceptable' and what isn't? From that, the public at large take their cues and vote accordingly.

With so much right wing media and corporate promoting, is it any wonder that that is the types of government we've had since 1979? The 'trickle down' economics and 'third way' are all the same thing. It results in more private involvement, higher costs and poorer services with the few getting richer quicker than all the rest, who are lucky if they stay static rather than become poorer.

This so called centre or middle of the road is nothing more than going along with what the propaganda tells you, you should do. It's not even a secret with things like 'it was the sun what won it' and Murdoch visiting all PM's at various times. Despite that, people still believe what the msm tells them. :thud:
