Where do you holiday if you live in Spain Vam? There are plenty of nice places to go in that country itself and Portugal plus France just over the borders.
Every day's a holiday where I live, LR
But yeah, I've been all over Spain - love Seville & beautiful Barcelona especially.
Used to travel much more extensively when I lived in London - mostly long haul. Nowadays, it takes a lot for me to be arsed to do airports. But I'm looking forward to Costa Rica at Christmas/NY.
I like driving around Italy and Spain and visiting new places. Not long ago I went to Toro and Salamanca (
I found the frog above the grand door at the uni) and I also went to Vallodolid and caught a train to Madrid and then onwards to Alicante to see friends there.

I also saw The House Of Shells and that beautiful square in Salamanca...
Casa de las Conchas House in Salamanca | spain.info UK
https://www.spain.info/en_GB/que-quiere ... nchas.htmlThe House of Shells is in the Gothic style. Its construction was begun at the end of the 15th century, although it also has Renaissance and Mudejar elements.
... and did you have good luck in the year after you spotted it?
WTG, btw - I had to have it pointed out to me, and even then I still struggled to see it!
If you enjoy driving in Italy, the stunning Ligurian and Amalfi coasts are hard to beat. But you probably already know that ...
Not yet Vam, I have driven around Friuli (great beaches and towns, plenty of grappa and good food) and the Lakes plus Sienna, Orvietto and Rome and been to Venice a few times.
I missed the junction for Florence once but still found good places, I found Veron and Bologna nice and I once drove from Gorizia down the east coast to Ancona.
All very nice
