Well this thread was transferred to the snug too. :ooer: :ooer: :ooer:

Anyway, this for me is what life is all about and this is what makes life worth living. >>> Caring about others.

This Shiba-Inu was said to be one of the saddest faced pooches, apparently,
Well the pic with the other dog melted my heart cos
it's like he's thinking "you look sad and I just KNOW something is wrong and I won't rest till I found out why. Cos I care"

Life.
Unless one believes in reincarnation, life is a one off opportunity.
To strive to make the best of oneself and hopefully have a lot of fun in the process.

Times have changed and we live in the age of self.
In the past most people would have been aiming at making others better happier etc.
Life would be about sacrifices for children husbands wives parents.
Before the age of electricity where we got to control the amount of light in our lives there wasn't much to aim for or do for self but always plenty to do for others.
Is it a good thing or bad?
That I suppose is for each to decide for .... him/her self.

in the past, People started socializing around the fire before 5am, when the Cock crowed. by 9am most People had finished over half their mornings tasks. there is no point comparing Our social existence in relation to the past, unless it is a reminder of what has been lost of forgotten.

Buffalo NY--1st city in the world on electric grid .City of Lights. Niagara River/Niagara Falls the source of power.

But I agree it is the job of humanity to help others in some way...or else there is an emptiness that creeps in.In the old days it was more forced on people. And that was a blessing in disguise.

siblings are brothers and sisters. I have noticed many People confuse the term with having children. just asking if siblings and kids are in context?

Lol, yes. I am used to sharing because I grew up with sibs and I also have kids so they tend to get my share of whatever, except chocolate cake.

I do it the opposite way. whatever is left I get, so I give a wee bit more. I never did the forcing Children to eat thing. We all know when We are full, and I don't do the bribery with desert thing either. if they are hungry later then they will learn to eat when it is available.

You do not think it romantic? I think it is the most beautiful thing We have ever done! We comprehend the World because We covered everything in drool. why do We kiss with Our eyes closed? in short definitely :leer: :pmsl: :pmsl:

I know what you mean. I’m making a chocolate torte for tomorrow and I’ve been enjoying rubbing my lips on the spoon immensely! It’s just not enough to just look at it.

I would prefer a cake. I don't like taste testing before serving. Son got Pablo the dragon from truly scrumptious for His 8th b-day (technically a wedding cake) first cake broke during transport so We asked they send it to a children's hospital or children's home. the second cake they would have been working on till late at night so that we got the cake the following day. wow, I will never forget that cake! I am definitely a chocoholic, it is harder to get proper chocolate now without added ingredients. 27 years ago I would go through a bar of chocolate a day. was never a fan of cadburies, not keen on the cherry flavor they use. it was only three years ago I learned I like some varieties of cherry.

very occasionally I buy a torte, like about once every few years. never thought of making one? I definitely make better cakes than shop bought. serious question LM, would You share the spoon or is it a fight to the death?
