Because you come across as a boring old bag. Maybe?

No, that's simply not possible Deano.

Why not?

Because to suggest such a thing simply beggars belief, dude?

I disagree...

Remind me, how would that have any possible grounding in reality?

You tell me where and when. :cuppaT:

Umm, I would love to but....

It was the theme tune to buster, the movie about the great train robbery.

Documentary on it on channel 4 had just finished, hence channel 4 at bottom of post.

Following songs from 10cc about judge then my rubber bullets about jail.

edit to add...quoted wrong post :shame:

fuck it, it explains itself anyway

Right, well that's made everything as clear as mud but my inital question was about why all the old stuff? It didn't just come in the wake of your Buster homage, did it? I'd say it's about 99% of the chunes posted, and not only here there's a Top 3 thing underway on Smeggsters at the moment, pensioners sing-song (and they're all songs that have been heard a billion times over - even if it's an established artist we wish to post then why don't we occasionally try veering away from their Greatest Hits sometime?).

It's this sort of thing, the tried and the tested, that makes forums so fucking boring with a capital 'B. Although, speaking of capital B's, Budgie's recent contributions (Cunt Drac) have been very most impressive. Good work, that man!
