It sort of means someone who can be effortlessly amusing with clever wit and not necessarily with an obvious punchline all the time.

It usually means that you use sarcasm and wit rather than out and out hilarity. So, people might not realise you are joking and take it seriously.

I agree, checked when the thread was locked, and am stunned that none of them copped a ban, particularly given that Tom is on DTV and can see what's going on.

Agreed. As I have said before, they are ruining DS. The old DSU members and DTV members had trolling missions on DS, but they were aimed at posters (like moi) who were in forum wars with them. Not damaged posters like QG.
