Is Frankly around on here? Im nearly sure it was her who recommended "Spirloos" to me.

I watched it a few weeks ago and thought it was excellent. Feeling of dread throughout. :wubbers:

We are watching old classics every week - last one was "the Woman in the Window" - Edward G Robinson.

Watched "Mildred Pierce" - Joan Crawford before that, she won an Oscar for it......both were excellent.

My daughter wont watch a black and white film which I think is a shame - some of them hold up better than the stuff released today.

Yes they do... and furthermore, you can usually make out all of the dialogue too.

saw Only the Brave on Amazon Prime...What a class act..I didn't know anything about it or the true events it was showcasing..The end was heart wrenching so much that I cried a couple of tears...Highly recommend for the visuals and gripping characters.

Can't believe it's been 14 years since The Incredibles came out.

I'm not much of a gamer but I do like to play Uncharted from time to time.

This looks brilliant!

I've played 3 Uncharted games (only finished one though) - if the film is as good as the games we're in for a treat.

Inferno, another in Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon wild goose chase series.

It was ok, I love seeing the museums and historical places, this one filmed mainly in Florence, Venice, and Istanbul.

Main premise is Langdon must find the hiding place of a deadly virus that if released could wipe out half the earth’s population. The clues reference Dante, hence the title.

What I found to be somewhat funny and of course convenient, was whenever Langdon and his mate had to blend in and hide, there were swarms of people (as you might expect in popular tourist places), but when they needed quiet and privacy to discover and interpret clues, it was suddenly abandoned. :gigglesnshit:

6/10. It follows the old formula of the previous films (Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons), so nothing new there, but it’s fast-paced and very watchable.
