I saw Paddington at the cinema yesterday afternoon, is a lovely film, funny too - highly recommend it, and it even brings in Christmas which is lovely for kids watching at this time of year. Loads of well known folk in it too.

Paddington was brilliant! Loved every minute of it.

Whatshername makes an excellent baddie, the one from The Golden Compass, she was a great baddie in that too.

Watched a couple of similar films over weekend:

A Walk Among The Tombstones: Liam Neeson in his type cast role it seems, this time as an ex cop come private detective, helping some drug dealers after family members are kidnapped and held to ransom - usually turning up in numerous plastic bags even though the ransom is paid.

It wasn't as bad as the critics made out, certainly better than the two follow ups in the 'Taken' series. Worth a watch if you don't pay to.

The Equalizer: Denzil Washington as the eponymous hero, helping those less fortunate and in trouble with nowhere to turn in current day Boston. Mild mannered and working in a DIY store, he gets involved with a young Russian call girl - resulting in all hell being loosed against the Russian Mafia.

I quite liked this, streamed it after a long day's work and relaxing bath, with my feet up and a pizza - it added to the feel good message in the film - well worth two hours viewing.
