Your favourite TV shows from the past

Your favourite TV shows from the past.. Those that ended some time ago.

One of mine is London's Burning, loved that show. Gritty, with some good story lines. Right now we of course have Chicago Fire, London's Burning was the bee's knees back in the day though.

Image Some of the old cast. The dude from Casualty on the left there.

Fools & Horses rates extremely high for me.

Till Death Us Do Part was a hoot as was Love Thy Neighbour.

One of my earliest memories of watching an actual TV series was that of 'Callan' starring Edward Woodward. Great MI5/MI6 drama with Russell Hunter as his grubby little nark and Anthony Valentine as Toby Mears a more classier version of spy.

It wasn't the same when I think Valentine died in real life and Patrick Mower took over as another agent called Cross, I think.

Great series though.

Sounds good.

Edward Woodward, reminds me of The Equalizer, that was a great show.

CE = Star Trek, though I don't care too much to watch it now.

BCE = Bilko, which I do.

1950's US Army comedy - Bilko (the character) is a bit like Delboy.

Don't think I have any favourites but I used to enjoy The Bill and Casualty back in the day.
More or less.

Casualty is still on now, but I'll let you off this time, it's on series 93 or something. Burnside, now there's a legendary copper. Yeah I used to enjoy The Bill.

I'm not interested in it now. I used to work in a hospital so was disappointed to find it was nothing like Casualty.

Ok, I don't watch any Hospital based fiction TV shows either, not now. I don't mind the factual shows, though. Like 24 hours in A&E etc
