Casualty is still on now, but I'll let you off this time, it's on series 93 or something. Burnside, now there's a legendary copper. Yeah I used to enjoy The Bill.

I'm not interested in it now. I used to work in a hospital so was disappointed to find it was nothing like Casualty.
Ok, I don't watch any Hospital based fiction TV shows either, not now. I don't mind the factual shows, though. Like 24 hours in A&E etc

I'm too squeamish to watch any of that. Hmm, that may be why I didn't last long as a nurse.

A posh nurse. :kinell: Yeah it wouldn't have helped.. A little like Doc Martin and his phobia of blood.

What makes you think I'm posh? I just don't have an accent.
Never watched doc Martin.

You sounded quite posh, on your sound clip. Nothing wrong with that if it is the case.

And It was very short clip. Don't think I was the only one who said it though.

Blimey.. good for you though, you don't sound like much of a TV watcher really.

You've had more fresh air than most I'd guess, or/and you just do plenty of other things while indoors.

Ready Steady Cook? lol That's an oldie.

Anyway, I'm off to get my Crimbo Tree out, seeing as I promised myself earlier that I would do it, tonight.

Haven't put our tree up yet. This week sometime. Anyway, we're off topic.

This was a series I remember watching, it was excellent. Tough and violent but funny in parts as well. A bit like a poor man's Soprano's without the Mafia and home life. Strangely for a programme of that era, it was based entirely in Birmingham.

I bet it looks dated now but I'd love to see it again. That Maurice Colbourne was a nasty looking piece of work, it was when actors actually looked as mean as the characters they played.

Just a bit before my time. I'm aware of certain shows though. Were you a fan of The Sweeney or The Professionals?
