The one's I know of that are actually on the Sky Movie Channels over the Christmas period are..

John Wick 2, 22nd December.
Beauty and the Beast, if you fancy it. Emma Watson stars. Christmas Day.
Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2, Boxing Day.
King Kong Skull Island, New Years Day.

I'll be recording 3 of the above 4.

Thanks for adding to this thread, will look out for them all....
You're welcome. Funny enough I still have last years Sky Christmas period movies that I recorded, sitting on the hard drive. lol It's hard to find time to watch them, there has been quite a lot of good things on TV this year, in terms of TV dramas etc

There are so many I have to see, heaps of movies great kid ones too for the youngsters, I have a daughter and she is loving what children movies are out to see, so that should keep her going over the holidays lol. Mind you I don't mind some of the animated ones I watch them too!

I’ve had one for a couple of years now, very rarely watch normal tv any more...

Many modern TVs and devices carry Sky Movies via NOW TV without the need of a Sky box or Sky subscription.

The bonus of a Firestick is new movies are available almost instantly. It also has every tv show and every series. I cancelled the movies and bigger package on Virgin, I never use it now.

Is that Fire TV with Amazon Prime or am I thinking of something else?

Yes mate, but I don’t use Amazon prime. Download Kodi and you get everything. I’m off out now so can’t reply... they are brilliant though highly recommended...

Yes mate, that’s an option. You can also get a box with Kodi on it, you don’t necessarily need a firestick to view Kodi...

I don’t know to be honest, I don’t use a PC any more. I’ll see if the nipper can do a speed test on her laptop when she’s home...
