I was hoping he'd finish his career at Barcelona. £326k a week plus - would be a huge wage to find on top of his transfer fee.

WoW some crazy figures being bandied about. City are now in the mix and could well afford him. At 27 there is quite a lot of millage left in him, if he stays fit.
Could he handle the UK climate after playing in Spain for so long is debatable.
He'd make a nice replacement for Van Persie :mrgreen:
