Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot take a bit of beating. :gigglesnshit:

They go on nothing more than a bit of gut instinct and the ability to raise one eyebrow in isolation ..... and they don't trouble themselves too much with evidence.

Fortunately for them, when confronted with their crime, the wrong uns usually capitulate instantly and confess all - otherwise it would all go a bit pear-shaped.

I quite like Waking the Dead in terms of its storylines but I find the way the main protagonists operate to be a bit too unrealistic. If forensic pathologists really behaved like they do, any rookie defence lawyer (or even a second year law student) would manage to get the accused off the hook - even if they were filmed committing the crime and had a tattoo on their forehead which said "It was me wot dunnit".

Well, exactly. In real life, they'd be stomped on and told to stop interfering!! :gigglesnshit:

What sort of thing interests Fenella then?
