I don't think this kind of programme should be used for people to get out of that kind of thing. It's a talent show, not a counselling service. I also find it sad that some people seem to think that the choice is between being a whore and a successful singer/celebrity.

The audition was awful anyway - she was out of tune. It's obvious that she was picked because of the "entertainment" value and because it was obvious she would get in the papers to boost the ratings. I like the X Factor but not as much as I used to because it all seems to be about "sob stories" and fame rather than talent now. It's OK once you get to the live shows but the auditions are getting more and more silly.
