Nstar red onions are generally considered to be salad onions as they are not as strong as white onions , plus they are sweeter so more palatable raw .
But they are olso used in cooking and great in an onion gravy , curry ect but i wouldnt use them in a very savoury dish ... I I tend to use them half and half in certain things .

yeah catnip it does as you probably saved my chilli that I am going to do in my new slow cooker tomorrow.I am going to love this slow cooker as I can put it on in the morning when I leave for work and it will be ready when I get home.

So all slow cooker recipes greatly appreciated for me to try out please

The only slow cooker i have Nstar is when one of the family offers to help me :gigglesnshit:

Basically they are great for soups. stews and chilli . I have never used one myself but some friends love em :thumbsup:
So great for the crappy weather coming in eh :twirl:

I just reckon with doctor saying I have to start looking after myself properly that with a slow cooker whatever can cook in it all day so I won't come in from work not being arsed to cook, coz it will be all ready for me, and i do like veggies

Get some Orovite7 from your chemist . Its around £8 for a months supply but worth every penny . Its fab if your run down :twirl:
