Excellent though, I love Come Dine With Me and the inimitable wit of narrator Dave Lamb.

The contestants for this edition are previous BB winners Brian Dowling, Nadia Almada, Brian Belo and Sophie Reade, I'm not holding out much hope for Brian Belo winning this one.

Looking at the show last night it makes me wonder what we all saw in them when they were winners

Who goes to dinner at someones house with their bra clearly showing so badly underneath their dress ?
Did anyone else think that was well tacky , it didn't even match her outfit in any way
She can't cook for shit either but im surprised she didn't win because of her outfit ..... or did she win ? I lost the will to live after her 'burger and chips' when Brian said her waffles were like an old matress

Oh and the other Brian had every bloody minute of BB ever shown
He has no mates and puts them on when he feels sad wtf ?
Man needs to get out more

Sophie thought potatoes grew on trees and didn't know the meaning of 'salivate' .... amongst other things that I can't remember now !

catnip i always brown off mince and add raw onion before putting it in an ovenproof dish for shephards/cottage pie, that way i get the excess fat out of the mince

I fry the onion until soft first.. then add the mince !

Me too Poca and i add fine diced carrot too .
Nstar even if you cook your onions in a seperate and then add your mince you will have a much better flavour

marks and spencers do a lovely ready made one that has peas and carrots and a side serving of cauliflower cheese with it

You will find if you fry your onions off they will be sweeter , move flavour some and will break down a lot better
