Shaver and a companion had been ordered out of a hotel room and told to get on the floor. The video shows him being neither hostile nor resistant. On the video you can hear one of the officers screaming, “If you make a mistake, another mistake, there is a very severe possibility you’re both going to get shot … if you move, we are going to consider that a threat, and we are going to deal with it, and you may not survive it.” The police are screaming that the cost of a mistake is death — what kind of training teaches that as a proper way to deal with people?

Do you think an innocent person might get nervous if an AR-15 was pointed at him while the police officer was screaming commands, including, “Make a mistake and I will kill you?” Would you get nervous?

Not only was the officer shouting in a very hostile voice, the orders were contradictory. “Do not put your hands down for any reason,” he tells Shaver. “Your hands go back in the small of your back or down, we are going to shoot you, do you understand me?” Shaver, who is now in tears, says, “Yes, sir.”

But immediately after, the commands change, “Crawl towards me,” and Mr. Shaver lowers his hands to the floor and begins moving toward the officers.

A few seconds after beginning to crawl, Mr. Shaver seems to twist slightly to his right, and as he does so someone shouts, “Don’t!” Officer Brailsford begins firing the first of five shots. As predicted by the other officer, Shaver did not survive.

It's the PC lefts fault, I live in NY. The Dems dropped the standards and exams for minorities to become Police or firemen.
Now we have midgets with guns, we have grossly overweight females with guns, and cops that can barely speak any english with guns.
The NYFD, had to drop the grading level on exams for blacks because they couldn't pass the exams as they were to hard.
White candidates had to sit the normal exam. Even blacks going for promotion were given easier questions.
They even have groups called 100 black police officers, and 100 black firefighters. Read up on them.
I've seen the same in Britain were you now have to employ people who wouldn't meet the standards of the british police force 50/60 years ago.
And I've taught my kids, do exactly what the cop tells you and be polite. We can sort out the details of right or wrong later. When I have you home safe.
Common sense when facing someone with a gun isn't really that hard. Comply, Comply, Comply.

From my youbing, visiting, many friends over there I firmly believe the Sherman cops are MOSTLY corrupt and gun crazy.

I have had close firearms training in the dessert with the FBi, CIA, the Henderson Police Force and other agencies, you should have heard them gobbing off whilst shooting, they would shoot their granny when hyped up.
Nowadays they are saying their lives are so much at risk they will shoot first, in fairness they are at high risk.

I've been following the corruption unfolding in the US and been reading some of the American comments and views about it. They really are a breed apart. They are obsessed with religion, the occult, numerology, even astrology. They see things in a totally different way to Europeans, and the rest of the world really. Everything bad that happens, any law passed is an attempt to remove the second amendment. Any problems and it''s 'I've got my xyz gun and boxes of ammo' or 'let them try it,. we're armed'. Every shooting of civilians is countered with, 'wouldn't happen if they had a gun' or 'wouldn't happen if I'd been there'.

These are people who are. as you say Jack, terrified of life itself. They have to be armed to the teeth to go to the corner shop for a pint of milk. They class any brown or Asian person as Muslim and their answer is to bomb their countries/the Middle East until they're all dead. Their military are fighting to protect America, they are beyond reproach and always say 'thank you for your service' to anyone who even thought about joining up. The other one is always saying God will protect you or It's God's will.

Honestly, my eyes have really been opened in the last 12 months or so I've been following US corruption. They are ignorant yet arrogant with it. They really do think only America has the right way to live, all others are socialists or commies. It's truly bizarre to read what they write and see how they think. That's the terrifying bit and answers why the US can get away with what they do to the rest of the world.

The mistake was the guy crawling went for his waistband with his hand. That was probably to pull his trousers up as he was crawling but the movement was enough to get him killed.

Why he made him crawl towards him is a mystery. Just a power thing I think, getting another man to crawl to you. He could have just said lay still, hands on head then approached him to check he was unarmed; man would be alive but the power and the gun came in to play again. Police in the US are out of control, take the Bundy case and hijack then shooting. Many a civilian has died at the end of cops guns for little to no reason, especially black people. the US is lawless, at home and abroad. Goodness knows where it will end.
