Problem pupils will have to enrol at 'boot camps' run by former soldiers

Disruptive children will be sent to ‘boot camps’ run by former soldiers under Government plans.
Expelled pupils are to receive a ‘military-style education’ at the special units separate from mainstream schools.

Former army officers who fought in Afghanistan will keep the youngsters under close supervision while teaching them teamwork and basic skills.

The idea that the soldiers will instill some kind of work ethos, pride in themselves, discipline and so forth, whilst being a wonderful concept, will only work if the subjects themselves are actually willing to put in the effort, they have to be prepared to change their lives.
You cannot force someone to do something they don't wish to do, not only ethically but legally you're on dodgy ground here, the thing is, each one of our troops are prepared to lay down their life if needs be, they are proud of what they represent and who they are. Rightly so! The kind of kids they'd be dealing with probably wouldn't be prepared to lay down a spoon and they all know their "human rights", they know that no one would be allowed to touch them, that they can't be made to do anything they didn't want to.
Seriously, would you really want these types in our armed forces?
