That said I read a story about a clergyman from Devon taking going to tribunal over what he calls a dodgy congregation he used to be a Chaplain in the Navy and took them to a tribunal regards sexual descrimination etc he won £50,000. Seems like he's up to his old tricks.

It's the same in every walk of life you always get a few bad apples.

Another mega stupid comparison! I think you'll find that Sky News have far more viewers than the independent has readers. For many many people, seeing it on the television would be news.

Sadly Frank religious organisations are afforded a privileged status in our society, whether it be tax exempt status, being able to carry weapons, exemptions against the law of the land (that everyone else has to obey) or being able to wear masks in public. This could very easily be done away with by the UK (and others) becoming a truely secular society. Personally I think someone should be able to practice what every whackjob religion they like, but they should not be given special preferential status.
