i certainly agree with you kahnny, but if they started eating dogs or serving dog in takeaways and we had to accept it as "its their culture" i would certainly have a problem, but as they dont im happy :smilin:

Dog is as valid a source of protein as any other.

So long as they are humanely reared and killed, I have no more problem with people eating dog than horse, baa lambs or ickle wickle piggywinkles.

The British eat horse and donkey up to the 1940s and I'm sure dog will be on the menu if and when we get hungry enough.

Are you saying we are heading for a famine?
If we get hungry due to a LibLabCon-men famine, we might even have to resort to eating the "tourists".

An early invite for you to come to dinner is in the post.....bring a bottle. :Swink:

Did they loot it or pay for it? Did they go smashing down shop windows and setting fire to peoples homes to get it?
i think these countries would be up in arms now if that had been the case.

==============
About 2,000 stolen artifacts were returned to Afghanistan and unveiled at the National Museum in Kabul on Tuesday, the New York Times reports. The artifacts had been stolen over the years of war in Afghanistan and smuggled into Britain.

British authorities confiscated them, identified where they came from and sent them back to Afghanistan in February.

Now who are the baddies?
