Athiests and Christmas

Athiests and Christmas

Postby 3rdLeg » Sun Dec 18, 2011 7:11 pm

Do they put up a crissy tree, do they give presents, do they realize that are celebrating the birth of Jesus?

Surely they wouldn't celebrate such a religious festivity.

I am quite positive Keitho celebrates this holy time...

Jesus was an athiest in the eyes of the Romans, because he did not believe on THEIR gods. :Swink:
The Christians saw the pagans as athiests as they did not believe in their god.

Putting up a tree and giving presents hardly represents 'celebrating the birth of Jesus'.

It merely means 'going along with the herd'.

Real Christians will spend a fair bit of time in church, or working in a soup kitchen, or visiting as a volunteer in the local hospital. Most people in the UK these days merely stick 'Christian' on the census form, believing that will see them through the afterlife.

What is all this "they business Leggo, I've heard you on many many occasions say that you do not believe in god. So why not just tell us what you do, or are you not really an Atheist, are you one of these people that sit in the fence and say "I'm agnostic", which is basically a cop out in my book.

Now let me guess, in your household you don't put stuff out for Santa like mince pies, carrots and beer, you leave stuff for your alien visitors. Now what would they find useful..................?

A local starmap......na they got one of them
An Atlas......na they mapped the earth eons ago
A dictionary.......na they've been monitoring our radio and TV for a hundred years
Some food.......na a definite no no, they brought fresh food with them a couple of days ago from home
A book on human anatomy........na they fucking designed humans and have the original blue prints
A book on Roswell.......na not very politically correct reminding them of a serious setback
On The Origin Of Species......na they prefer real scientific books, OTOOS is a bullshit book

Only one thing left them, bumper stickers for their spaceships

IF YOU CAN READ THIS YOU ARE FUCKING DREAMING
MY OTHER SPACESHIP IS A SKYMOBILE
ALIENS DO IT IN SPACE
I (HEART) EARTH
HONK IF YOU ARE GREEN & HORNY
I (HEART) DAVID ICKE
YOU DON'T SCARE ME! I SURVIVED ROSWELL
