Shame Britain reneged on its obligations of the Treaty of Zurich. That it failed to intervene and prevent bloodshed. That it made no effort to act on umpteen UN resolutions declaring the Occupation of 36% of Cypriot land was illegal. You would have thought that with two Sovereign bases they would have felt some sense of obligation.

The same said nice Turkey which comitted Genocide on the Armenians, burned, killed and ethnically cleansed all ethnic Greeks from Istanbul in 1955, who have been murdering Kurds for the last 50 years, who have threatened Israel, Greece, Armenia, Syria and even France in the last 12 months!
