EU to set same extradition laws as we have with the USA

The EU is instituting the same laws which sent Christopher Tapping to America last week and is threatening to send asperger's suffer, Gary McKinnon the same way.

Basically, any EU government which has even the slightest inkling that a British subject knows anything about a crime in their country, they can be extradited immediately without the British legal system being able to do anything about it.

There doesn't need to be any proof the person has any connection with the crime, just the word of some foreign law agency to say we want them and they can be held indefinitely until they come up with some evidence...or not, as the case maybe.

This might seem quite reasonable to many Europhiles and multiculturists, seeing as they think we are all 'Europeans' now, and it might be ok if the agencies were French, Dutch or German say, but when we have countries in the Union who have barely left behind the 'Gulag philosophy' of the Soviet Union and investigative techniques of the KGB, its quite a different matter.

Even in countries like Greece, whose law agencies 'manufactured' evidence to get Enfield man Andrew Symeou extradited, then kept him for 10 months in a hell hole of a prison whilst trying to come up with some real evidence. Fortunately, this man was found not guilty as even the Greek law courts saw that the evidence was absolute rubbish and the Greek police had made most of it up, but will this always be the case?

We have until 2014 to opt out of this 'Charade of Justice' but will we?...has anyone else even heard this is going to happen until today?...has our governemnt told us about this?...have the media brought this to our attention?

We have rights as British people going back almost a thousand years, that firm evidence is needed and presented before a British court of law before you can even be arrested and detained for more than a certain number of hours.

Do we want our rights usurped by Eurocrats, hell bent on controlling every aspect of life in our country?, Do we want our government's to hide this away in the hope that it will pass by without anyone noticing until it is too late?...........If not contact your MP and tell them we need to say no NOW or when the time comes.

As soon as Parliament knows that WE are aware that they are going to give away more of our rights, they will have to do something about it.

A senior British judge concluded that the extradition treaty with America was both fair and equitable.

I suppose he must have been a mixture of...

Poodle ?

Gaga ?

Bribed ?

Or perhaps those who believe that we shouldn't send those who commit crimes against other countries laws back there to be tried have been reading the Daily Mail a bit too literally...
