The historical statistics (from now on referred to as the "neo-con hysterics" ) also show that taxes have always risen the most steeply under Tory governments; governments services are also nearly always cut back sharply under Tory regimes - only to be rebuilt under the next 2 or 3 terms of "liberal" or "socialist" parties; the poorest half of the population always suffer the most under Tory policies; all so the Tories can make their millionaire backers that much richer..
