The firm claimed plans to leave the EU had sparked economic certainty at a time when the Government’s debt reduction plans appeared to have run off course....

Remember when we were AAA ?

Lol. Remoaners. :cuppaT:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have yet to see a convincing list of the benefits of leaving the EU.

I respect the will of the people but many were fooled so very easily.

I also suspect if another referendum was called the result would be a very firm Remain.

Seeing Strong and Stable and Bonkers Boris floundering about recently has been rather embarrassing - we did once run the world after all.

So despite consistent polling to the contrary you choose to believe that. Well everyone is entitled to an opinion i suppose.

LOL show us a very recent poll that has Leave ahead.
Even The Express cancelled publication of TWO of its EU Ref polls because the results were 78% and 74% Remain. :pointlaugh:

You do know the sole reason the GB£ has strengthened a little, recently?

Simple - the prospect of higher interest rates.

Look forward to higher mortgage repayments, (even) higher interest on credit and store cards, more expensive overdrafts and bigger borrowing costs meaning job losses and higher prices from producers. Oh, and joy of joys, an extra 0.1% interest on our savings..... maybe.

OK, time to stick your head back in the sand now.......

Plenty who voted Leave will be hit hard in their pockets by an interest rate rise. Judging by the polls, they tended to be older, hence more likely to have mortgages and credit cards to service.

I take it your idiotic 'lols' are for them too.

Nice.

An extension of the date has also played a major part in the increase of Sterling.

More Humiliation For May

Hopes that Theresa May’s Florence speech would break the deadlock in EU talks were dashed in Brussels on Monday after the EU’s chief negotiator said there could be no discussion of a transitional period until other issues were dealt with first.

The UK and EU negotiating teams are now more at loggerheads than ever, with Michel Barnier explicitly ruling out transition deal talks until the divorce bill, citizens' rights, and Northern Ireland are dealt with.

On the other hand Brexit Secretary David Davis, speaking on his arrival for the latest round of negotiations, has ruled out settling Britain's divorce bill without first moving to talks about Britain's future relationship with the EU – which Britain wants to include a transition period.

So, the EU seems to be giving up .... precisely nothing.

Strange that, I seem to remember being reliably informed by Leavers that "We are sure to get a good deal because 'They need us more than we need them'..."

Lol, Brexiteers eh?

Nice to see the gaping hole in our economy due to brexit being plugged by our American 'friends'.
