In 2000 a report to the house of commons raising concerns about fire safety of clad buildings following southampton fire was ignored by labour government for 10 years.

Blood on their hands whilst simultaneously playing politics with dreadful tragedy.

Were they considering cladding the building 17 years ago, if so, who were 'they'?

He'll blame the former Labour council of Ken and Chels of 1966 in a minute. :pmsl:

In the meantime he ignores the last seven years :shake head:

Hammond said this morning that this particular cladding is banned in the UK.

As ever Viper is entirely disingenuous at best.

In 2013 Eric Pickles was asked change regulations so that all future routine maintenance of tower blocks would include a sprinkler system and all cladding should be a fireproof variety made with mineral wool.
