There's always something uncivilised about leftie protests - the rampaging, vandalism, looting, defacing statues of war heroes etc. We've already witnessed the vile trolling over this issue on here. I also recall wutang posting 'funny' clips of random Trump supporters getting knocked out, and telling us Thatcher's remains should be dug up and hung from a tree.

No wonder residents of Grenfell are concerned about the 'day of rage'

The residents of grenfell have expressed their wish that this should not go ahead. But as we see here with resident leftys they dont care about the actual residents. They want to remove the elected government that is their only care. People of london are barricading having seen these types of ppl 'protesting' before.

Is it too much to ask the left for ince behave with dignity.

Also 2 wrongs dont make a right. How odd to suggest that bnp behave badly therefore lefties are entitled to smash things up.

Surely any decent person would check themselves when realising they are excusing their behaviour because far right groups behave badly.

Golly - what a tangled web.

Does that mean he was actually in a position of power within that organisation at the time, though?
I mean, if he was an undercover cop, hanging around with a bunch of militant activists, when they decided to form that particular organisation then he'd be a "founder member" by default, irrespective of what his position within that organisation was.

My old fella was a founder member of the SDP, back in 1981.
Doesn't mean you're going to see pictures of him on stage with Shirley Williams and Roy Jenkins though.
He was just one of the oiks in the crowd who was sick of clowns like Foot and Kinnock.

Does it matter? The fact remains that Special Branch assisted in its foundation.

Well, yeah. I'd say it DOES matter.

It'd only be fair to say plod "assisted" in it's foundation if he WAS in a position of power within the organisation.

Do we know what this peter Francis fella looks like?
Surely there'd be pictures of him up on stage with the other leaders of the group if this was the case?
Has nobody looked into this?

I don't mean to refute what you've said.
I'm just saying that I would have thought somebody would have dug up some evidence if he might've been responsible for organising anything dodgy.

My first though, TBH, was that maybe he's just some clown who released a book in 2014 and was trying to hype it with his statement.
A bit of googling, however, reveals that he seems to have quit the force after claiming for PTSD and then sued it and received a settlement before going on to become a long-term critic of the police.
I'd be hesitant to take what he says at face value, without evidence to support his claims.
